New Government Website: AIDS.gov

December 1 is World AIDS Day. In order to help educate the public about the disease, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has created a new portal for information about AIDS and HIV. AIDS.gov divides information into the following topics:
  • News and Events
  • Basic HIV/AIDS Information
  • Prevention and Education
  • Treatment and Care
  • Testing
  • Funding Opportunities
  • Research
  • Agencies and Programs
  • Populations
  • Other HIV/AIDS Resources
For more about World AIDS Day, check out these sites:
  • National AIDS Trust (UK)
  • UNAIDS: The Joint United Nations Programme on AIDS
  • U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief
  • World AIDS Campaign
